If it's Monday, then it must be travel day. M and I are leaving her mom's house and are headed to one of our kids' places, about an 8-hour drive from here. A couple nights there, then we start the trip home. We should get home on Saturday, probably late in the afternoon.
Always good to see "Mom." In contrast to the stereotypical son-in-law, I always got along very well with my in-laws. M's dad passed on a few years back, so now it's just MIL. I wonder what SHE would think if she knew... If she only knew...
This will be me in my traveling clothes... Except I'll also be wearing a steel clitty cage.
